- Dangerous cargo (IMO) must comply with particular and local requirements, for further assistance please contact customerservice@sealandmaersk.com.
- IMO Class 6.1 is not accepted at San Antonio Terminal Internacional SA (STI).
- Feeder service ex Arica, Iquique and Bolivia: Arica, Iquique and Bolivia cargoes are served by a feeder vessel. In cases of shipments with hazardous cargo you must get special acceptance, same applies to Oversize cargo.
- Feeder service ex Punta Arenas and Puerto Chacabuco: Cargo is served by the southern feeder that connects with our "mother" vessel in San Antonio Port. In cases of shipments with hazardous cargo you must get special acceptance, same applies to Oversize cargo. In any of these cases please contact customer service.
- Bill of Lading clausing, documentation: Bill of lading MUST show weight in kilograms.
- Due to Customs regulations Chilean cargo must have a Chilean Shipper stated on the Bill of lading.
- Weight Restrictions: 22,100 Kilograms + Tare for 20’Dry. 25,000 Kilograms + Tare for 40’Dry. Road limitation 45,000 Kgs total (cargo + container + truck + chassis).
Our setup in Chile will consist of two elements: Demurrage and Detention.
This means you will have separate free time and compensation for utilization of equipment inside (Demurrage) and outside (Detention) of terminals or depots.
Currency type: USD
Our tariff charges will be:
- Charges in USD per calendar day (including weekends and holidays) after free time expires.
- Export Detention | from empty gate out empty at terminal/depot to gate in full return at terminal/depot.
- Terminal storage charges may apply, nevertheless, those are charged directly by Terminal Operator.
- Terminal plug-in charges may apply, nevertheless, those are charged directly by Terminal Operator.
