Documentation Requirements:
- Original Bill of Lading (B/L) is necessary to release cargo before customs authorities. If B/L is printed at origin, shipper must send to consignee at least one (1) original B/L in order to release import cargo.
- Weight must be in kilos and measurement in cubic meters (CBM).
Local Consignee or Notify Party is required in Colombia. One container cannot have two B/L with different consignees. If the consignee is a freight forwarder, the ACI code should be included.

The Comodato is a must when cargo is going to be released. In case a Customer wants to release cargo through their Customs agent, the same should always present into our Gerleinco offices a Power of Attorney, which could be found under Important Documents here.
