Import
- Cargo IMO Class 1, 4 and 5 will always be requested as Direct Dispatch from the Port, therefore customer must submit Original Bill of Lading and customs clearance documentation at least 3 days before vessel arrival, otherwise container will not be discharged and additional costs will be accrued payable, by consignee.
- Original B/L is required by customs for cargo clearance (telex release not acceptable). Freighted TPDOCs are needed due to custom's legal requirements.
- Seaway B/L are not allowed.
- No amendments will be accepted 3 working days after vessel arrival to discharge port.
- Personal effects, Used clothes, Used tires, and Used car parts should be consigned to a company and not a person for all cases (for example: a freight forwarder or an international moving company).
- Weight limitations :
- 21 MT Using discharge port Acajutla and Corinto
- 21.5 MT Using discharge Puerto Cortes for SD Moves
- 21.5 MT Using discharge Puerto Cortes for CY Moves
- Over 21 TONS SD service 21.5 TONS allowed 2 axle chassis, from 21.5 – 24.5 TONS 3 axle chassis a penalty of USD 150 applies.
- Commodity Vehicles (used and new) for imports through Puerto Cortes: Customs clearance must be done by consignee’s broker, even if Store Door Service. Carrier will not perform brokerage, only the inland haulage, if shipment was booked as Store Door.

Our setup in Honduras consists of two elements: Storage and Combined Demurrage and Detention.
This means you will have one combined free time period and compensation for utilization of equipment inside and outside of terminals or depots, referred to as Combined Demurrage and Detention.
