- Pyrotechnical cargo, explosives and Flammable cargo must be coordinated as direct dispatch.
Please note starting February 7th 2022, we will require information in order to satisfy the new regulation regarding Carta Porte Complemento imposed by Authorities (SAT) which will be mandatory to consider the pick-up or delivery of import/export Truck and Rail combined Store Door movements (SD). Based on this update please ensure information is updated no less than 48hrs prior to pick up via website https://serviciosmaa.azurewebsites.net/ .
Landside movement will not be scheduled until this information is received, delays due to not submitting details may result in extra costs that will be reflected within your BL.
Lazaro Cardenas Import Restrictions
- Based on restrictions imposed by Mexican regulations, the following commodities cannot be moved via Lazaro Cardenas port:
- Unmethylated alcohol, Methylated alcohol, and alcohol classified under Harmonized Code 2207.10.01, 2207.2, 2208.90.01
- Sound recording equipment (only compact disc burners) classified under Harmonized Code 8520.90.99
- Poultry

- General Cargo:
- 20DC-23,000 kg allowed
- 40DC-21,500 kg allowed
Cargo Reefer - 40 REEFER- 22,000 kg allowed
- Swb OBL allowed for exports & imports
***Exceptions: Sealand can offer the Inland Service for overweight shipments considering 40% over the rate. It applies only in these cases: *0DC-25,000 kg allowed and 40DC-23,000 kg allowed.

Our setup in Mexico consists of Combined Demurrage & Detention.
This means you will have one combined free time period and compensation for utilization ofequipment inside and outside of terminals or depots, referred to as Combined Demurrage &Detention.
