Weihai Port Restriction

Reefer shipments from Russia/Vietnam to CNWHA are prohibit till new notice, other SEA countries need to apply case by case with shipment no/volume/commodity name/place of receipt before loading.

Waste/Scrap commodities

Waste/Scrap commodities is not accepted for both direct import and T/S in PRN, commodity name which contains “abandon, scrap, waste, abolish, abrogate, discard” will definitely be classified as scrap commodities.

Commodity name which include some suspicious wording that maybe relevant with scrap commodity will be inspected by customs/anti-smuggling department, shipment will be forced to return if it turns out to be scrap commodity based on customs’ judgement with all involved cost debiting to shipper.

Used commodities (vehicles excluded)

Not accepted for both direct import and T/S in PRN.

Used vehicles

• Lianyungang/Dalian: Not accepted for both direct import and T/S.
• Xingang: Only accepted for direct import when shipment consigned to embassy, T/S only allowed when shipment is destined to Mongolia.
• Qingdao: Case by case check with consignee’s detail information is needed for both direct import and T/S.

Dangerous goods

• Tianjin do not accept DG import, SILICON SPHERE not accepted.
• Qingdao cannot accept IMO 1/2.3/6.2/7.

Weight limit

• Container over 40 tons need to apply side-released 24 hours before discharge without any delay.
• Consignee should arrange trucking in due time otherwise need to absorb all possible cost/consequence/risk resulted by the delay.
• ULAANBAATAR weight limitation: 30480kg (include cargo and container tare).

Central Asia shipment T/S via Qingdao

For central Asia shipment which is destined to Almaty, Kazakhstan (KZA3J)/Tashkent, Uzbekistan(UZTAS) and transshipped via Qingdao, below restrictions need to be strictly adhered to:

1. Origin local charge, freight charges and local charges like DTHC/DDF and any other possible additional charges which occur in Qingdao need ALL to be PREPAID. While destination railway station charges need to be settled by consignee to railway station directly since carriage term is CY/FOR.
2. Bill type can only be Sea Waybill
3. COC is not accepted. Special SOC containers like reefer, open top, flat rack etc. are not accepted. Only standard dry SOC i.e. 20GP/40GP/40HQ are accepted. Single 20GP is not accepted, 20GP must be loaded in pairs, the cargo gross weight discrepancy between the two containers in a specific pair should be strictly controlled within 3 tons.
4. Cargo gross weight limitation, apart from container payload, below weight limitation should also be adhered to:
   • 20’ standard dry container < 21.5 tons
   • 20 ’heavy dry container < 27 tons
   • 40’standard dry container or 40’high dry container < 26 tons
5. Meat & firework & Hazardous cargo & Lithium-batteries are prohibited by rail operator
6. It is required to provide below information for pre-check before any booking acceptance:
   • The HS code for destination Customs declaration
   • English commodity name
   • Package specification
   • Commercial invoice
   • Packing list
   • Cargo picture
