Acceptance of export at below ports:

West Malaysia: Port Klang (Northport and Westport), Penang Port, Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Kuantan Port, Pasir Gudang Port
East Malaysia: Kuching Port, Bintulu Port, Sibu, Sepangar Bay Container Port at Kota Kinabalu, Tawau Port & Sandakan Port
Brunei: Muara Port

Acceptance of domestic export cargoes between West Malaysia ports and East Malaysia ports (vice versa).

Dangerous cargo

All containers with Dangerous Goods (DG) should have the ‘placard’ (also known as DG stickers) affixed on each side of the containers. The total ‘placard’ per container would be 4 pieces.

Special cargoes

Out of Gauge, Break Bulk and Dangerous Cargo (IMO) acceptance are subject to Sealand - A Maersk Company’s standard approval procedures as well as space and equipment availability.

Special customs requirements

Measurement (CBM) and 6 digits HS Code are mandatory requirement for Export Custom Manifest.
Bill of lading parties must show a local shipper.

Our setup in Malaysia and Brunei will be Combined Demurrage and Detention. This means you will have one combined free time period for utilisation of equipment.

Sealand - A Maersk Company’s standard combined free time for export is inclusive of container empty collection day and estimate vessel departure day.
Combined demurrage and detention calculation days are inclusive of weekends and public holidays, progressive calculation will be used after the expiry of your free time.
