In Taiwan, we use the Rate of Exchange on weekly basis instead of daily floating.
We will refer to Bank of Taiwan closing rate of cash selling price on Friday in the previous week (week X 1) as the Exchange Rate applied to the shipments onboard/arrival between the Friday in the current week (week X) and next Thursday (week X+1). The closing price of the cash selling on Friday of the first week will be used as the exchange rate of Second week Friday to third week Thursday Calculate the benchmark.
Export Invoice/Debit note will be issued after vessel departure.
Import Invoice/Debit note will be issued no later than 24 hours prior vessel arrival.
