Country DnD set-up - DnD setup in Belgium consists of two elements: Detention and Storage (Inland CY) / Demurrage (Port of Loading). Demurrage in the Port of Loading includes Storage.

Invoice Item DETENTION	Description Refers to the compensation for the utilization of equipment outside of terminals: starts to apply as from SAME DAY of EMPTY PICK-UP at port, terminal, or depot until THE DAY OF GATE-IN FULL at port, terminal, or depot, both days included. Invoiced as export detention.
Invoice Item STORAGE	Description Refers to the compensation for the utilization of equipment inside of terminal, including compensation for utilizing the terminal, or depot facilities of Maersk Inland Depot (CY): Commences on and includes the day that the full container GATE-IN FULL at the depot, ends on and includes the day that the container is GATED OUT FULL from the inland CY. Invoiced as export storage.
Invoice Item DEMURRAGE	Description Refers to the compensation for the utilization of equipment inside of terminal, including compensation for utilizing the port, terminal, or depot facilities in the Port of Loading: Commences on and includes the day that the full container GATE-IN FULL at the terminal, ends on and includes the day that the container is LOADED on board of a vessel. Invoiced as export demurrage. For bookings involving an inland CY, Export Demurrage will be invoiced in the POL for demurrage days when delay is due to customer.

Notes:

Reefer storage includes plug-in/electricity charges.
Free time and charges per container per calendar day (i.e. including week-ends and holidays) after free time expires. Start date and end date are included in the calculation.
Calculation is Progressive: in case free days are exceeded, lying costs are invoiced according to the Tier-group where the days used fall.
Shipper’s Own Container is considered as equivalent to corresponding container type.
Non-operating reefer (NOR) will be charged as DRY equipment.
Export Detention free time and charges are applied based on equipment type (e.g. DRY equipment with IMO will follow DRY; REEF equipment with IMO will follow REEF).

For transports arranged in Merchant Haulage, empty containers will be provided at the Place of Receipt location as stated on the Bill of Lading.

In exceptional cases and after confirmation by the carrier, empty containers may be supplied at an alternate location against payment of a pick-up fee as per tariff below.

The trigger for the validity period is the first load date at origin (Price Calculation Date).
