Import
First step
- All cargoes, even if coming from EU Countries, are supposed to be non-EU and accordingly declared before vessel arrival. To overrule a/m presumption, T2L, as evidence of EU status, has to be submitted to Sealand - A Maersk Company by Customer before import custom manifest submission to first Italian port called by vessel. If T2L not submitted in due time, manifest amendment fee applies and extra costs (such as storages, detentions, etc.) might accrue while manifest is being updated.
- Contact our Import Department to check the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) of your containers
- Ask for the total amount of collect charges (including demurrage and detention, if any)
