Manual Documentation Fee:

From November 1st 2016, all shipping instruction submissions for your shipments must be submitted through www.sealanmaersk.com or any other online platform (EDI, INTTRA etc.).

In case that you still wish to submit the shipping instructions manually, a Manual Documentation Fee (MDF) is applied.
The Manual Documentation Fee will be: 25 USD / bill of lading

Special customs requirements:

Consignee must submit veterinary import document (VID) to local veterinary authorities at least 12 hours before the vessel arrival (fax: + 370 46 355030). In case the document is not submitted in time, reefers will not be allowed to discharge and will be shipped back to Bremerhaven. Consignee will be held responsible for all costs associated with re-import.

Commodity

• No shipment is allowed to enter Klaipeda without proper manifest details. If no shipping information placed in time for updating Customs Authority with the information 48 hours before vessels arrival - the container will be returned for costs of the cargo.

Weight and measurement

• Maximum allowed cargo weight for road transportation: 24.5 tons.

Special cargoes

• Out of Gauge, Break Bulk and Dangerous cargo subject to standard Sealand approval procedures.
