Shipping to and from Morocco

We kindly recommend you to:

• Book at least 24 hours before you require our truck to be positioned at your premises for stuffing.
• Make sure you have a booking number when you approach our depot to get the empty equipment.
• Please use our E-booking platform available at www.sealandmaersk.com.

From November 1st 2016, all shipping instruction submissions for your shipments must be submitted through www.sealandmaersk.com or any other online platform (EDI, INTTRA etc.).

In case you still wish to submit the shipping instructions manually, a Manual Documentation Fee (MDF) is applied.

The Manual Documentation Fee will be: 25 USD / bill of lading.

Weight limitation

The maximum weight accepted for 20' and 40' (dry and reefer) equipment is 28T and 30T for the high cube. Official maximum weight allowed on national roads is 40T including truck, chassis, container tare and payload.

Special equipment

OOG cargoes are subject to Customer Service evaluation and approval.

Cross bookings

Local charges should be paid prior the release of equipment and same should be paid in Moroccan dirham.

Special cargoes

There are generally no restrictions, though for trucking to inland points special permits may be needed (dependent on the actual oversize, so please inquire). For dangerous cargo the dangerous cargo papers must be provided and approved at the time the booking is placed. Please ask our Customer Service team for exact details.

Calendar Days from arrival into terminal until full container is loaded on the vessel.

Storage for reefer INCLUDES plugging fees on terminal.

Charges are calculated per MAD per calendar day.

*Combined detention and demurrage are EXCLUDING terminal storage in Casablanca and Agadir, which are charged directly by the Terminal operators to customers.
