- Bill of Lading: If the shipment is covered by Original Negotiable Bill of Lading, at least one original bill of lading needs to be lodged at Sealand destination offices before they can act on further instructions. - Authority to submit a request for delivery or release: Instruction on delivery or release container at destination can be taken from the party stated as a consignee on the Bill of Lading only. Authority from the consignee which authorise destination office to take instruction from an agent for future shipments is also acceptable.
