COVID-19 Updates - Singapore

We would like to share with you the latest updates related to the outbreak of COVID-19 and any impact to Sealand Asia’s operations in Singapore .


Our leadership teams, as well as management in all other areas where cases of COVID-19 have been identified, are closely monitoring the situation as part of our strong commitment to ensure the safety of our employees whilst working towards mitigating any possible impact to our customers’ operations.

APRIL 22, 2020


General Status:


Singapore authorities had confirmed on 21st Apr that the circuit breaker measures from Tuesday, 7th April 2020 to 4th May 2020 will be extended to 1st Jun 2020. The list of essential services have been further streamlined to include only the most essential services. It is also now mandatory to wear a mask when stepping out of the house.


Our Office and Counter Service:


In view of circuit break implementation in Singapore, only a maximum of 3 customers are allowed in the counter area at one time.

Customers to strictly use dropbox and approach counter for collection only.

No cheque acceptance at the counter and AFR closure should be based on bank deposit and EFT slips only.

Operating Hours:
- 9am-5.30pm (Mon to Thu)
- 9am-5pm (Fri)
- Closed from 12.30-1.30pm


Counter Operating hours:
- 9am-4pm (Daily)
- Closed from 12.15-1.30pm


PORT/TERMINAL/DEPOT UPDATE
Terminal and depots are operating as normal.

Singapore authorities had implemented the circuit breaker measures effective Tuesday, 7th April 2020 to 4th May 2020. Only essential services like healthcare, social services, financial services, cleaning services, and water, energy, and environment related services will continue to operate.


Our Office and Counter Service:


In view of circuit break implementation in Singapore, only a maximum of 3 customers are allowed in the counter area at one time.

Customers to strictly use dropbox and approach counter for collection only.

In Singapore, all entertainment outlets forced to close from 26/3 to 30/4. Gatherings outside of work and school limited to 10 or few persons.


Our Office and Counter Service:


We are implementing new operating hours for our office counter:

Operating Hours:
- Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
- Closed from 12.15-1.30pm


Other Reminders:
- Social distancing measures at counter include marked out areas where customers should stand.
- No more than 5 customers are allowed at the counter at one time.
- Customers are requested to use the dropbox and approach the counter for collection only.
- Cheques are encouraged to be dropped at bank as much as possible.
