Change of POD and POI Surcharges for Import shipment from Intra-Asia to Bangkok river ports, Thailand

In connection to the increased cost involved with the PAT’s instruction to use Laem Chabang Coastal Barge Terminal A, please be informed that we will be making the adjustment of Equipment Positioning Service – Import (PED and POI) for all import shipments from Intra Asia to Bangkok river ports as per following summary:

Surcharge name: Equipment Positioning Service – Import CY (PED)
Origin scope: All countries from Intra-Asia origins
Destination: Bangkok port (Klong Toey / Phra Khanong / PAT), Thailand
Current tariff quantum: Baht 2,100/4,200/4,200 per 20’/40’/hc (Dry and Reefer)
New tariff quantum: Baht 2,900/5,000/5,000 per 20’/40’/hc (Dry and Reefer)
Effective date: 1st November, 2021 (Price calculation date)
Payment term: Collect at Destination

Surcharge name: Equipment Positioning Service – Import (POI)
Origin scope: All countries from Intra-Asia origins
Destination: Sahathai Coastal Terminal, 
Thai Connectivity Terminal (TCT)
Transportation mode: Barge mode only
Current tariff quantum: Baht 1,200/1,200/1,200 per 20’/40’/hc (Dry and Reefer)
New tariff quantum: Baht 2,000/2,000/2,000 per 20’/40’/hc (Dry and Reefer)
Effective date: 1st November, 2021 (non-China origins)
1st December, 2021 (China origin)
Payment term: Collect at Destination
