In order to keep providing you with our global services, Sealand America is revising the Terminal Handling Service – Destination (DHC) for ALL DRY containers in Puerto Caldera, CR effective 01st December 2022.
This revision is in line with announcement CIR-ACALD-GER-009-2022 issued by Customs Authority in Costa Rica, which states the need to maintain current operation of transporting all containers discharged in Caldera Terminal (except reefer and IMO cargo), to designated Transitory Depots prior to their release. All costs associated with the compliance of this government mandated requirement will be included in our DHC tariff, with the exception of terminal dockage and storage costs which will continue to be invoiced separately locally.
