Port of Iskenderun in South Turkey added to SLB rotation

Sealand – A Maersk Company is responding to an increased demand from Northern Europe to Egypt.
The route London > Rotterdam > Bremerhaven > Ashod > Alexandria > Port Said is well utilized. To improve the schedule reliability of the service, Sealand is now adding a fifth vessel to this service. This will improve schedule reliability for customers.

The additional ship secures transit times and will connect Northern Europe and the Southeast Mediterranean by now also calling at the port of Iskenderun in Turkey. Sealand thus offers a direct connection between Northern Europe and Southern Turkey. The following rotation is served: LONDON > ROTTERDAM > BREMERHAVEN > ASHDOD > ALEXANDRIA > ISKENDERUN > PORT SAID.

The new SLB rotation will start its service on February 9, beginning in ASHDOD with the vessel MAERSK IZMIR. The first call from ISKENDERUN in Turkey will be on February 14.
